Ministry of Science — How Was It?

We’ve just attended a family-friendly show, Ministry of Science, and it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g.! A couple of months ago, a Facebook ad appeared on my profile. It was a very good ad because it made me curious and it looked like something I’ve never seen before. After I showed the video to my son, he was so thrilled that I decided to buy tickets for the entire family. The Ministry of Science show was engaging. They mixed the educational side with the fun side and performed all sorts of exciting experiments. Some of them involved electricity, liquid nitrogen, fire and — boom! They were fun, the presenters were very good and…

King Arthur’s Labyrinth | Family Day Out

We went to Snowdonia and wanted to have a family day out, so we decided to visit King Arthur's Labyrinth. It was magical!
After we got out of the car and started walking to the entrace, I felt that we were entering a new world. The shops, the cave, the maze, everything looked misterious. We were so delighted because we had never seen something like that before.

A Perfect Saturday: Family Day Out at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo

Looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday? Why not get a little wild and visit the zoo! We chose ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, one of the largest in the UK, with its sprawling 600 acres and over 3,600 animals. It was our first time visiting an English zoo and I was thrilled to spot some unique birds that I’d only dreamed of seeing. Can you guess which species? Our decision to visit the zoo came naturally. Albert was learning about African animals at school and we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to bring his lessons to life. The timing was spot on—beautiful weather and a free Saturday!…

A Walk Around Virginia Water at Windsor Great Park

We visited Virginia Water Lake at Windsor Great Park a couple of years ago. I took lots of pictures and we had a great time! Let me tell you more about our trip to Virginia Water Lake. The first thing that caught our attention as we walked through the trees was the cascade. Its sparkling beauty left us in awe and I couldn’t help but think how stunning it looked. The history behind the cascade is fascinating. Construction began in 1752 under the guidance of William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, with architect Henry Flitcroft leading the design. Unfortunately, just 16 years later, a massive storm destroyed the pondhead and cascade,…
